Catharsis

 I went for a walk on Blue Hill Trail behind our house, aimed at finding out if these: are Golden Chantarelles, or would make me dead or sick. Took one home, and I'm pretty sure it is  Cantharellus enelensis . Maybe the wife would like mushroom soup for dinner? Further on down the trail, I spooked a barred owl, who was nice enough to hang around and pose for me.

  Focused in two ways, he's focused on a snack, and this is the best focussed shot I've ever got of one of them. This is the only decent one of about 20 attempts.
